Job Description

We are looking for an enthusiastic Junior Software Developer to join our experienced software design team. You will report directly to the development manager and assist with all functions of software coding and design. Your primary focus will be to learn the codebase, gather user data, and respond to requests from other senior developers on the team.

Your role and responsibility

• Learn the codebase while improving your coding skills.
• Write maintainable code.
• Work on minor bug fixes.
• Monitor the technical performance of internal systems.
• Respond to requests from the development team.
• Assist the development manager with all aspects of software design and coding.
• Work closely with all team members to interpret and evolve requirements into product features. 
• Develop software solutions to meet customer needs.
• Create and implement the source code of new applications.
• Test source code and debug code.
• Evaluate existing applications and perform updates and modifications.

About you

Experience

• 1-2 years of experience in delivering web-based solutions.

Skills

• Experience in Multiple back-end languages (e.g. C#, Java, Python) and JavaScript frameworks (e.g. Angular, React, Node.js) is an advantage.
• Experience in application and software development (Windows, Android &IOS).
• Knowledge of software design and programming principles.
• Good mathematical and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and team-working skills.
• Plan, organize and prioritize personal workload.

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or other IT-related areas.
